  1. Make arrangment to pick up dogs.
  2. We call various kennels / operators that we work with to pick up dogs that are interested in being pets instead of racers.

  3. Pick up the dogs.
  4. Bath and treatments
  5. We give all the new dogs baths and flea medication. All the dogs get new collars and FORG identification tags.

  6. Introduction to our test cats

"Mia"

All of the dogs are what we call "Cat Tested", which allows us to see if the dog is able to live in a household with cats and/or other small animals. This test determines the level of the prey drive that each greyhounds has. We do what we can here, but there are no guarantees.

  1. Off to the Foster homes
  2. Each dog is placed in a foster home, or in the "Cell Dog" Program at "Crowley County Correctional Facility" so that they can learn how to become good family pets.
